Prepare for careers in construction management as a project manager, project engineer, superintendent, estimator, safety officer, and other administrators. Students learn estimating, scheduling, project management, human resources management, and other skills that are critical in the construction management field. Students can enroll on a part-time or full-time basis, and can earn a certificate or an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree.
The Leadership in the Trades Certificate introduces leadership concepts needed for advancement in construction and manufacturing careers. Instructors specifically present the topics of risk management, human resources management, contract management and compliance, safety management, job site control,
scheduling and external relations. Targeted audiences include: RTC program graduates, RTC current students, apprentices, journey workers, and professionals in the construction, energy or manufacturing sectors. Students are responsible for purchasing books, tools (program tool list available upon request), and protective
equipment.
