				Associate of Applied Science - Transfer Degree: 90 credits 
Enrollment Point: Fall, Winter, or Spring Quarter 
This program builds upon the fundamental skills learned in the Accounting Paraprofessional program. This program provides additional training in specialized areas including managerial/cost accounting, governmental and non-profit accounting, federal and state business taxes, and additional studies of business law. Students enrolled in the Accounting Specialist program earn an Associate of Applied Science-Transfer (AAS-T) degree. 
The degree includes 20 credits of electives from General Education and/or another program in the Business Management area of study: Construction Management , Contemporary Business , Legal Assistant , or Office Assistant . Students should consult the requirements of their desired transfer destination before they select these electives. 
Program Learning Outcomes:

	- Identify and categorize data, and record financial transactions.

		Program Requirements
 Below is the course sequence for students who enter in Fall Quarter. The course sequence for other entry points may vary.  Quarter 5
 - ACCT& 203 - Principles of Accounting III 5 Credits
 - 10 Credits from any General Education Distribution area (strongly recommended for transfer) or Construction Management or Contemporary Business or Legal Assistant or Office Assistant
 
 Quarter 6
 - BUS& 201 - Business Law 5 Credits
 - 10 Credits from any General Education Distribution area (strongly recommended for transfer) or Construction Management or Contemporary Business or Legal Assistant or Office Assistant
 
 GPA Requirements
  - Minimum cumulative GPA: 2.0
  - Minimum grade for each core course (ACCT& 201, ACCT& 202, ACCT& 203, and ENGL& 101): 2.0
  - Minimum grade for all other courses: 1.0
