CSI 255 - Game Development 5 Total Credits Introduce students to industry-standard tools and game development techniques. Enforce and expand their current programming skills with game industry-specific architecture. Combine programming, visuals, animation, sound, and other assets to develop a dynamic project they will be proud to display as a portfolio piece. They will develop stronger programming skills using design patterns and optimizing code using tools like profilers. Create a deeper understanding of design, style, and appreciation for one of the most engaging mediums of our time and how they can tell their story by integrating cultural traditions, innovations, and expressions.
Prerequisite(s): CSI 224 with a 2.0 or higher

- Collaborate with a team with version control.
- Utilize and Expand Object Oriented Programming skills to create gameplay mechanics.
