SURG 105 - Psychology of the Workplace 4 Total Credits This course provides students with practical knowledge encompassing various aspects of the surgical technology profession, including understanding the roles and responsibilities of professionals in the field, developing effective interpersonal relationships, communication and conflict resolution skills, addressing ethical and moral issues, risk management considerations, teamwork dynamics, the importance of emotional intelligence, the medicolegal aspects relevant to surgical technology, providing support for the psychosocial needs of surgical patients, and the classification of disaster preparedness and response. PREREQUISITE(S): SURG 103
