CSI 244 - Web Development III

Students will demonstrate their understanding of HTTP Requests and the flow of data from the server to the client. Students will learn to implement client-side libraries such as bootstrap and make server requests via client-side library such as AJAX. Students will be introduced to hosting services and topics from web architecture such as ports, REST, and CDN’s. PREREQUISITE(S): Completion of CSI 142 with a 2.0 or higher.

Prerequisite(s): CSI 142 with a 2.0 or higher

Course Outcomes

Host web services on platforms like Heroku or AWS.
Be able to create a functional WEB API with multiple HTTP methods such as GET and PUT.
Understand, use, and implement CDNs.
