CCP 43 - Science+ Lab

In this science and lab course, you will learn about different elements of science as you study and complete various lab experiments. You will study the pH scale, water quality, and densities. As you do, you will learn about the elements, chemicals, mass and more. You will learn about how science interacts with our real world and impacts us in everyday life.

Course Outcomes

Generate and evaluate a question, and conduct a scientific investigation.
Formulate one or more hypotheses based on an understanding of causal (cause and effect) relationships.
Describe criteria for evaluating whether or not hypotheses are correct.
Draw conclusions supported by evidence from investigation.
Participate in discussion about one’s own scientific investigations, and those performed by others.
Apply science and technology to critical issues that influence society.
Collect, analyze and display data using calculators, computers or other technology.
