DFT 128 - Civil Drafting

This course acquaints students with the basics of site plan layout using AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D. Students learn how to draft plan and profile, topographical maps, and other survey/civil drawings.

NOTE: For students who started the program before Fall 2020, this course is 4 credits.

Prerequisite(s): DFT 113, with a 2.0 or higher.

Course Outcomes

Prepare a site plan including legal description and boundary lines.
Prepare a plan and profile describing cut and fill of a given boundary.
Conduct a solar study.
Design and apply a topography within a given boundary.
