CCP 75 - ELA Intermediate Writing
1 to 5 Credits
This course will offer instruction for adult non-native speakers of English to improve their skills in writing. Intended for students whose writing skill was assessed at the Intermediate Foundation level.
Course Outcomes
- Punctuate correctly using all forms of punctuation, including quotation marks, colons, and semicolons.
- Add detail and complexity to sentences with multiple adjectives in correct order, multiple phrases, and participle and gerund phrases.
- Produce complex sentences.
- Develop and expand paragraphs.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the writing process by drafting, editing, and revising.
