IPT 104 - Intro to Aircraft Structures

In this course, students learn the importance of aircraft ground/bonding sealing, corrosion prevention, and the characteristics of metals, achieving a good working knowledge of material compositions and their ability to perform under certain conditions. The student will be able to analyze the facts and principles, drawing conclusions about metal identification and its characteristics. Specific skills include IPT rivet identification, rivet pattern layout, drill bit identification, nut plates, blind fastener and latch identification.
