APP 171 - Photoshop II Credits 1 This one-credit module prepares students to utilize the more advanced features of current digital imaging software such as Photoshop in the classroom and in the workplace. Through a series of hands-on projects students learn more advanced features, including working with brushes and color effects, working with special effects and blending modes and exploring productivity techniques. Prerequisite(s): APP 170 . Course Outcomes
- Create a file and gradient. Utilize the Color Panel, Sampling Colors, and Shapes, Inserting Text, Paint Bucket, and Painting with Brushes.
- Gather images to begin customizing photos. Use Blending, Sharpening, Retouching, Dodge, Burn, Sponge, Lens Correction, Blur, Sharpen and Smudge Tools.
- Utilize Channels, Color Toning, Conversions, Logo’s, Actions, Four-Color Processing, Resizing, Resampling, and Interpolation.
