APP 170 - Photoshop I

This one-credit module prepares students to utilize current digital imaging software such as Photoshop in the classroom and in the workplace. Students learn through a series of hands-on projects that build a growing knowledge of the basic software features, such as selecting pixels and working with layers, using selection techniques, working with brushes and color effects.
Course Outcomes

Customize workspace.
Open, edit, print, and save photos to utilize on the Web.
Utilize selection tools and shortcuts.
Utilize Marquee, Move Magic Wand, Quick Selection, and Lasso Tools.
Create PDF files and keyboard shortcuts.
Create a composite working with layer.
Create a layer via cut, from another image, and dragging a selection.
Utilize Eraser Tool, Layer Masks, and Clone Stamp Tool.
