APP 170 - Photoshop I Credits 1 This one-credit module prepares students to utilize current digital imaging software such as Photoshop in the classroom and in the workplace. Students learn through a series of hands-on projects that build a growing knowledge of the basic software features, such as selecting pixels and working with layers, using selection techniques, working with brushes and color effects. Course Outcomes
- Customize workspace.
- Open, edit, print, and save photos to utilize on the Web.
- Utilize selection tools and shortcuts.
- Utilize Marquee, Move Magic Wand, Quick Selection, and Lasso Tools.
- Create PDF files and keyboard shortcuts.
- Create a composite working with layer.
- Create a layer via cut, from another image, and dragging a selection.
- Utilize Eraser Tool, Layer Masks, and Clone Stamp Tool.
