VET 197 - Veterinary Assisting Internship

Student Internship. During this course, students will work with a veterinary facility, observing and participating in the medical treatment of patients. Students will have a chance to work with individual animals under the guidance and supervision of the veterinarian. As a student, you will be applying the various techniques and skills learned in the previous courses. The site supervisor will evaluate you on your performance, providing suggestions, guidance, and constructive critique of your skills. The Vet Assisting Internship is 99 hours.
