BAKS 112 - Saturday Baking Series 4

This is an excellent 4-part series for either the accomplished or the aspiring home baker, offering a lot of new material and good practice under the experienced eye of a chef. You’ll often take baked goods home with you! Join Chef Hope Sandler in this baking series that will teach you the elements of many kinds of dessert. Chef Hope will discuss the chemical processes taking place in the ingredients and also within each recipe revealing what makes them work. With Chef Hope at your side you’ll practice with different types of desserts learning new techniques for cakes, spoon desserts, pies and tarts, cookies, fruit desserts, and frozen desserts, allowing you to become familiar and comfortable with each method. Please bring a clean apron, chef’s knife and measuring tool with you to class. Supply cost is included in the tuition fee.
