This is an excellent series for either the accomplished or the aspiring home baker, offering a lot of new material and good practice under the experienced eye of a talented pastry chef. Join Chef Hope Sandler for this 3-part baking series that will focus on the process pastry chefs practice daily - using master recipes and techniques as a springboard for developing new desserts - homey, comforting and dazzling! With Chef Hope at your side in the bakeshop, she will share her philosophy of dessert preparation and reveal the methods of professional pastry chefs, resulting in your ability to create deeply satisfying, classic and contemporary sweets. Themes in Session II include: classic American desserts; cookies and bar desserts; custards, puddings and mousses; pies, tarts and cobblers, and much more! Supply cost is included in the tuition fee.
