DFTS 170 - Intro to CATIA V5 (INT 101)

This is a beginning course in CATIA V5 that introduces you to the CATIA interface, the CATIA structure, opening and saving documents, and the tools to visually manipulate an object (solid) using absolute or relative axes. The course will also include the functions to create a solid model part, produce an assembly, and determine the mechanical properties of the object. Use of CATIA V5’s on-line documentation will also be emphasized.
