DFTS 110 - AutoCAD Management

This course helps students understand the technical pieces of CAD Management support. The primary objective is to represent a structured approach to managing AutoCAD in a networked environment. CAD managers learn how to reach larger CAD management goals of standardizing the work environment to attain greater productivity for their users. Hands-on exercises are used to demonstrate the concepts that are taught.

Prerequisite(s): Working knowledge of network fundamentals including creation of mapped drives, AutoCAD configuration including software installation, configuration, and use of profiles, menu/CUI customization, tool palette construction and usage.
