BAST 073 - English Language Acquisition (ELA) Basic Writing

This course will offer instruction for adult non-native speakers of English to improve their skills in writing. Intended for students who have little to no writing skill.

Prerequisite(s):

Print the English alphabet legibly.
Write with mostly correct spelling words found in basic everyday language.
Capitalize correctly following basic capitalization rules.
Punctuate statements correctly using periods.
Write simple sentences with correct word order: Subject Verb (Object) Place/Manner Time.
