​​The Content Creator and Social Media Marketing Certificate will prepare students to work in content creation across any industry. The program will include teaching in essential content creation tools and techniques, platform-specific strategies for major social networks, business aspects of content creation including monetization, AI-assisted content generation and editing tools, and a capstone project that results in a professional portfolio. The courses in this program can be taken as electives to the Entrepreneurship AAS degree, or as a standalone certificate.​ 

Program Learning Outcomes:

  • ​​​Develop and implement digital marketing strategies that align with business or personal brand goals. 

  • ​Create and edit professional multimedia content for social media platforms, websites, and campaigns. 

  • ​Apply principles of design, storytelling, and branding to engage specific audiences. 

  • ​Use analytics to evaluate content performance and inform future strategy. 

  • ​Demonstrate proficiency with common digital tools and software for media creation and management. 

  • ​Produce a professional content portfolio that showcases technical, creative, and strategic abilities. 

  • ​Apply ethical and inclusive practices in digital communication and representation.​​
