The Bakery Entrepreneurship Program offers students a dynamic and hands-on learning experience in a professional, well-equipped bakery setting. This fast-paced program adheres to industry standards and practices,
blending classical and contemporary baking techniques. Designed for aspiring bakers and entrepreneurs, the curriculum integrates a variety of learning competencies and methods to provide a concentrated and focused
education. Students will gain practical experience in scaling and mixing ingredients, dough production, retail operations, and oven work within a production kitchen. The program covers a broad range of baked goods, including breads, pies, pastries, cookies, doughnuts, cakes, and specialty decorating. Additionally, students will be prepared to take a nationally recognized food safety certification exam, demonstrating their understanding of industry standard sanitation and safety practices.
Beyond baking, students will learn to start and run a small business with skills in management, accounting, marketing, and leadership. In this program, you will develop a comprehensive business plan. If you have a passion for teamwork, bakery production, and creating delicious baked goods in a commercial setting, this program provides the skills and knowledge necessary for success in the baking industry.
