Academic Plan: OMSCBAAS

Associate of Applied Science-Transfer Degree: 90 credits

Enrollment Point: Fall, Winter or Spring Quarter

Learn to start and run a small business with skills in management, accounting, marketing, and leadership. In this program, you will develop a comprehensive business plan. 

You can choose the Entrepreneurship certificate (3 quarters) or associate degree options (6 quarters). Two short certificates are designed for professionals who want training in leadership or marketing. 

Students interested in a bachelor’s or applied baccalaureate (BAS) degree should enroll in the AAS-T Degree plan and choose electives based on admissions and completion requirements of their target BAS programs. 

Transfer credit from other institutions will be considered upon validation of transcript and course work.

Program Learning Outcomes:

 

  • Create a comprehensive business plan. 

  • Choose responsible marketing strategies to attract and retain customers. 

  • Explain the impact of different management and leadership styles on a company’s effectiveness. 

  • Make fair business decisions that follow the law, improve productivity, and increase profits. 

  • Use financial tools to project, track, and manage costs and revenues.
