ASCs use a distinct set of codes different and is governed by rules distinct from those in inpatient hospitals and in physician offices. This course covers the definition of an ASC; ASC payment; payment rates; updates to the Ambulatory Surgical Center Fee Schedule; Ambulatory Surgical Center Quality Reporting (ASCQR) Program; and resources. The primary focus is accurate claims submissions using appropriate forms and in compliance with ASC regulations.
