MATH& 142 - Pre-Calculus II 5 Total Credits This class focuses on trigonometry: trigonometric and inverse trigonometric functions, their graphs, and transformations of their graphs, with applications to mathematical modeling; trigonometric equations; and the derivation and use of trigonometric identities. Content also covers polar coordinates and may include vectors and parametric equations.
General education distribution area: Quantitative / Symbolic Reasoning.
Prerequisite(s): Completion of MATH& 141 with a 2.0 or higher, or placement by assessment.
