ABDY 105 - Paint Application I

Students become familiar with the proper, safe and lawful use of topcoat paint products. Sheet metal panels are provided for students to practice spray techniques.

Course Outcomes

Demonstrate the proper use of all the safety equipment and tools that is required to preform the task of refinishing an automobile.
Ensure a clean vehicle before masking it.
Demonstrate correct masking procedure, including spray gun selection and cleaning.
Demonstrate an understanding of undercoats or (sealers).
