Prepares students to provide safe and culturally responsive care by focusing on pathophysiologic changes that may indicate alterations in healthcare needs. The fundamental aspects of oxygenation, perfusion, acid-based balance, fluid and electrolytes, infection, immunity, inflammation, digestion, and metabolism are explored.
