CSI 226 - Computer Programming IV 5 Credits In this advanced programming course, students continue refining their coding skills in topics such as polymorphism, encapsulation, asynchronous programming, multi-threaded applications, and distributed applications.
Prerequisite(s): Completion of CSI 124 with a 2.0 or higher.
Course Outcomes
- Create a windows application in an object oriented programming (OOP) language.
- Become familiar with an OOP platform and its libraries.
- Apply object-oriented principles when building an application.
- Use an input/output library to create, write and read files.
- Create multi-threaded applications.
- Create simple web applications with servlets.
- Create a web application using sessions.
