CBE 101 - Fundamentals of Electricity and Lab 6 Credits This course covers basic electrical theory, testing, troubleshooting, schematics and symbols, circuit construction plus other related items used in the industrial and commercial maintenance fields. Lock-out/tag-out regulations are also included. Part of this course is a hands-on lab featuring components, wiring and application of basic electrical systems.
Course Outcomes
- Explain electrical theory and electron movement theory.
- Identify series, parallel and series-parallel circuits.
- Use electrical test equipment accurately and measure voltage and current flow.
