MT 201 - Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Apprenticeship Credits 5 Application of mathematics to industrial maintenance environment. Perform standard computations and conversions between measurement systems. Relevant mathematical concepts are taken from algebra, geometry, and trigonometry to help students understand formulas and common technical application problems. Basic math skills will be reviewed including decimals, fractions and conversions between them. This course also includes the use and application of formulas seen in industry. Students will learn properties of angles and common geometric shapes and relevant trigonometric functions, and they will be introduced to graphs and statistics.
