APP 176 - Dreamweaver II


Credits 1
This one-credit module prepares students to utilize the more advanced features of Web design software such as Dreamweaver. Topics covered include creating links and navigation bars. The course will explore other topics as well, such as using CSS to lay out pages and positioning objects with HTML tables.
Prerequisite(s): APP 175 .
Course Outcomes
  1. Utilize and manage dynamic images by resizing, setting alternate text, and using favorites.
  2. Create internal and external links, create navigation bars with images, create an image map and manage web site links.
  3. Utilize CSS to layout pages, add layout blocks, edit layout properties, insert an AP Div, and position and size an AP element.
  4. Position objects utilizing tables, resize tables, rows and columns, merge and split cells, insert text, images and media in tables, and format and modify cells.
  5. Collect data with forms; plan and create user-friendly forms.
