SUR 114 - Field Survey Spring Practicum

This lab course is based on knowledge gained up to the last four weeks of the third quarter of the program. The students work on longer projects in boundary retracement, topographic surveying, and construction surveying.
Course Outcomes

Attend and arrive punctually and provide notification if expecting to be absent or late.
Use personal communications to entry level standards while working on a survey crew.
Apply field skills and techniques developed during the first year of the program to make observations that meet industry standards.
Create field notes and electronic field data to workplace standards.
