LGL 202 - Criminal Law

Students examine the concepts of criminal law and procedures from arrest through trial. The students study crimes against persons and property and the various defenses available to criminal defendants. Students prepare correspondence, forms, and pleadings, and schedule and calendar events with emphasis on grammar, proofreading, and good writing. Students visit a courthouse to learn about the law library and a view a criminal court proceeding.
