BAST 055 - Math in the Sciences - Open Doors

This course serves students in the Open Doors Youth Re-engagement program. This contextualized course integrates math instruction with instruction focused on science. Possible topics include but are not limited to: the scientific method, nutrition, epidemiology, biology, chemistry, physics, earth sciences, and evolution. This competency-based class allows students to demonstrate skills and knowledge, and earn possible high school credit equivalents in Science, Health, Math, and/or elective credits.
