BAST 057 - Math in Health & Fitness - Open Doors

This course serves students in the Open Doors Youth Re-engagement program. This contextualized course integrates math instruction with instruction focused on health and fitness. Possible topics include but are not limited to: the scientific method, nutrition, epidemiology, biology, anatomy, and physiology. This competency-based class allows students to demonstrate skills and knowledge, and earn possible high school credit equivalents in Science, Health, Physical Education, Math, and/or elective credits.
