AUTC 281 - Emission Certification

Students learn engine performance theory, application, and diagnosis of ignition, fuel, emissions and on-board diagnostic computer systems based on NATEF competencies through Web-based, classroom and hands-on lab instruction in a live work environment. Topics include: engine diagnosis, computerized engine controls, ignition systems, fuel systems, air induction and exhaust systems, emissions controls and related systems. Students prepare for ASE Certification test A-8.
Prerequisite(s): AUTC 101, AUTC 112, AUTC 117.
