AUTC 191 - Internship I

The student will be working in a Renton Technical College approved automotive repair facility performing the duties assigned by the management and/or mentoring technician for a minimum of eight (8) hours per day for 55 days during a Renton Technical College quarter. Students demonstrate abilities in shop safety, pollution prevention, and shop procedures to NATEF and industry standards, and be prepared for duties in Maintenance and Light Repair, Electrical Systems 1, Brakes, and Steering and Suspension to NATEF and industry standards.
Prerequisite(s): AUTC 101, AUTC 112, AUTC 117.

Course Outcomes

Demonstrate abilities in: shop safety, pollution prevention, and shop procedures to NATEF and industry standards.
