CSIS 280 - Advanced Programming in SQL Server

Credits 5
This course is for experienced DBA, who will learn how to create batches and scripts, declare and use variables, data type conversions, and operators. Next, the student will learn the built-in T-SQL functions, working with numbers, string manipulation, as well as learning how to build effective views, stored procedures, triggers, and user-defined functions, using Transact-SQL. The Student will learn how to use the Transact-SQL programming language for error handling and hierarchical queries in SQL Server 2014.
