WELD 122 - Certification

This course prepares students for welder qualifications and certifications in arc welding processes. The goal is to fine-tune welding skills in order to gain welding certifications, in preparation for employment. For students who need more time than offered in WELD 122, two or more of the following courses can be substituted: WELD 138, WELD 139, WELD 140, WELD 141.
Course Outcomes

Become certified in a welding process.
Demonstrate knowledge of the safety hazards, use of personal protective equipment and take the necessary precautions with all welding processes.
