Surface modeling and higher complexity parts requiring a rotary axis are covered. Students learn 3-D programming with Mastercam and may be introduced to other CAD-CAM software systems such as SolidWorks. Students cut complex parts using multiple rotations and simultaneous 4-axis machining.
