AMATH 205 - Intermediate Algebra with Analytical Geometry

This course covers sequences and series inequalities, conic section, and the concept of limits. This course is offered through the Land Survey Technician professional technical program.
Course Outcomes
- Solve and graph systems of Inequalities.
- Apply Ratios, Proportion, Interpolation and variation.
- Identify Sequences and Series and apply the Binomial Theorem.
- Work with the General Equation for Conic Sections and graph from the standard form of equations for circles, parabolas, ellipses and hyperbolas.
- Define the concept and rules of limits and find the slope of a line tangent to a curve.
