This course provides students with skills to operate the alphabetic, symbols and number keys on the computer keyboard. Students focus on proper home row reaches while improving typing speed and accuracy.

Course Outcomes

Type the alphabet, numbers, and symbols using the proper touch typing technique.
Use a computerized keyboarding program to increase speed (wpm) and improve accuracy.
Interpret proofreading marks while working with rough draft material.
