CSI 475 - Advanced Database Intelligence

Students will use ETL to integrate, clean, and transform data from multiple sources into a resultant data set to be loaded into a data warehouse. Advanced SQL will be written against the warehouse to help extract business insights.

Prerequisite(s): Completion of CSI 345 and CSI 470 with a 2.0 or higher.

Course Outcomes

Use Tableau to analyze data and create dashboards.
Clean and shape data to optimize for analysis and to connect to data in Tableau.
Create effective and interactive dashboards that tell a story and allow business users to use the data in their decision-making process.
Create an ad-hoc analysis environment that facilitates data discovery by non-technical users.
