CBE 207 - Indoor Air Quality

This course will help students interpret indoor air quality regulations, how to comply with them, and how to determine if new/remodeled buildings meet these regulations in commercial buildings. It includes how to handle everyday IAQ problems and how to prevent and solve problems effectively.

Course Outcomes

Analyze the scope and seriousness of indoor air quality problems as related to health and revenue loss.
Recognize and identify other considerations for indoor air quality problems such as chemical emissions, renovation problems, sink effect and custodial operations to industry standards.
Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot indoor air quality problems.
